Virginia Haizlip graduated from The George Washington University Law School in Washington, DC. During law school, Ms. Haizlip worked in a variety of legal settings, including working as an intern in the Compliance Department of the National Association of Federal Credit Unions and working on a major regulatory compliance case. Upon receiving her law degree, Ms. Haizlip gained experience in a variety of litigation settings. Ms. Haizlip now practices exclusively in the area of family law, representing men and women in all aspects of divorce, custody, and other family law matters. Ms. Haizlip continues to be active in her local community, volunteering her time as a hotline crisis counselor and participating in several bar associations.
Prior to law school, Ms Haizlip attended Colgate University in Hamilton, New York, where she was a member of Pi Sigma Alpha, the national political science honor society, and the recipient of the prestigious Elizabeth Cady Stanton Award, for her dedication and work in improving the lives of others. During her time at Colgate University, Ms. Haizlip participated in off-campus study programs in Copenhagen, Denmark and Washington, DC, working as an intern for Representative Carolyn Maloney and for the United States Department of Justice. Ms. Haizlip also served a president of a student organization for three years and volunteered as a tutor for local elementary school students.
